Overhaul
At the overhaul department of Citrotech, the overhauling of primarely hydraulic an mechanic parts of the Citroën DS and Citroën H Van takes place.
After disassemblation of the hydraulic and mechanic parts, all components are carefully cleaned. Some metal components are replaced by new ones, made by Ruud on his numerous machines.
All gaskets, O-rings and rubbers are replaced by new ones.

After this, the components will be assembled and painted again. The result is absolutely not inferior to the product Citroën supplied, fourty years ago!
Before the parts leave the garage, they are tested thoroughly. The testing installation shown on the left photo below is meant for the Citroën DS steering rack. The photo on the right shows a Citroën DS high pressure pump being tuned and tested.

Below, you find an impression of the machines that are being used for the construction of components, that are needed for the overhaul parts. The machine on top of this page is a Tripet internal grinder.

The first machine is a Studer S20, a cylindrical grinding machine with the accuracy of 0.5 µm (0.0005 millimetres). We use this machine to sharpen the components you see at the image on the right (steering rack Citroën DS).

Furthermore we use two Weiler CNC lathes, a Sunnen ML-2000 honing machine and a Chiron machining center.
